Refund policy

Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without providing a reason.

This right applies only to consumers. It does not apply to purchases made by businesses or legal entities.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer must notify us by sending an email to info@abcdrone.eu within 14 days of receiving the goods.

The withdrawal request should include:

  • Order number
  • Date of purchase
  • Customer name
  • Product(s) being returned
  • Reason for return (optional but appreciated)

The goods must be returned within 14 days after submitting the withdrawal request, or proof must be provided that they were handed over to the carrier within this period.

Returned goods must be complete and in substantially the same condition as received. The buyer may inspect and test the product only to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functionality, as would be possible in a physical retail store.

If the returned product shows signs of use beyond what is necessary for inspection, or if accessories, packaging, manuals, or other included items are missing or damaged, ABC Drone reserves the right to reduce the refund proportionally to the diminished value of the goods.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • the wrong product was supplied;
  • the product arrived damaged; or
  • the return is the result of a confirmed warranty defect.

Refunds will be processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. However, ABC Drone may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the customer has provided proof of shipment, whichever occurs first.

If the customer selected a shipping method more expensive than the standard delivery option offered by ABC Drone, only the cost of the standard delivery service will be refunded.

Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal

Certain products sold by ABC Drone are not eligible for cancellation or the 14-day right of withdrawal, as permitted under Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights.

This includes products that have been:

  • pre-configured or customized specifically for the customer;
  • assembled, built, soldered, programmed, or otherwise modified according to the customer's request;
  • bound to a radio transmitter;
  • configured with custom firmware or software;
  • individually prepared as a Ready-to-Fly (RTF) or pre-configured product;
  • manufactured or personalized specifically for the customer's requirements.

This does not affect the customer's statutory warranty rights.

If a customized or pre-configured product is defective, develops a manufacturing fault, or does not conform to the contract, it may still be returned or repaired under the warranty provisions described below.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase provided they have not yet been processed, configured, assembled, packed, or shipped.

Once order processing has begun, or the product has been customized specifically for the customer, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled and must instead follow the applicable return policy, where eligible.

Warranty and Defective Products

ABC Drone is responsible for any lack of conformity that existed at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within two years from the date the consumer receives the goods, in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection legislation.

During the first year after delivery, any defect is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless this is incompatible with the nature of the goods or the defect.

The customer should notify ABC Drone of any defect within two months of discovering it by contacting info@abcdrone.eu.

If a product covered by warranty is found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault or lack of conformity, ABC Drone will, where appropriate:

  • repair the product;
  • replace the product with an equivalent item; or
  • provide a full or partial refund where repair or replacement is not possible or would be disproportionate.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • crashes or impact damage;
  • improper installation or assembly;
  • incorrect configuration;
  • misuse or negligence;
  • water damage;
  • unauthorized repairs or modifications;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • damage caused by incompatible accessories or components.

Customized or pre-configured products remain fully covered by warranty against manufacturing defects despite being excluded from the voluntary 14-day return right.

ABC Drone will respond to warranty claims within 15 days in writing or in another durable medium.

Pricing Errors

ABC Drone reserves the right to cancel an order and refund any payments received if, due to a technical or human error, a product was listed at an obviously incorrect price that is significantly below its intended market value.
